This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind masterpiece from South African knifemaker Andre Thorburn. Blade length is 3.40 inches. Total length is 7.75 inches. Weight is 3.60 ounces. The blade is of Bohler N690 stainless, hollow ground and differentially finished to emphasize the clean grind lines. The flipper, combined with the IKBS ceramic bearing system, provides exceptional action, with quick blade deployment and rock solid lockup. When released, the blade drops closed very smoothly. The scales are formed from silver strike carbon fiber, with silver toned wires traveling through the carbon fiber weave. The scales are over blue anodized titanium liners. The zirconium bolsters are hand engraved, textured and anodized by Marietjie Thorburn. The titanium liners are anodized blue and surround a black G10 backbar. The handle is completed with red fiber spacers. The machined titanium pocket clip holds a ceramic retention ball. Ergonomics are outstanding, and the fit and finish are exceptional throughout. Comes with a fleece lined, zippered Cordura pouch and Certificate of Authenticity.
