Coin has been professionally conserved. By NCS/NGC and has ZERO toning. You get the exact one shown here: certification # -010 (cert # not fully shown). 2013 R2 SILVER PROOF TRAINS OF SOUTH AFRICA – CLASS 43. NGC PF70 Ultra Cameo. This coin is one of several in the “Trains of South Africa” series. The Train coins are very popular due to their excellent design. And I have the others for sale also so be sure to see my other listings. This coin is in a new holder and has been conserved and is a duplicate in my collection. PF 70 grade coins in the R2 series are rarely offered for sale, with the exception of the Cheetah. Avid Collectors rarely sell any PF 70 coins if they are fortunate to get them. It is difficult to get a 70 grade, and the 100 coins that I have for sale in PF69 grade offers ample testimony of that fact. I send in many coins to grading at once in the hopes of improving my collection and on rare occasions I’ll end up with more than one 70 of a given type. Wanted: I’m looking for the 2011 south africa silver R2 “Man and the biosphere, Kogelberg biosphere reserve- Marine” coin. I have a number of NGC-graded coins of hard-to-get R2, R1 and Silver Krugerrands (including privy-marked issues) and trades or partial trades will be considered. You may want to check out my other items as I have lots of South African silver coins, included graded and raw coins. I’ll be listing a limited number of other types of Mint-Sealed South African silver coins in the next few days. This item is in the category “Coins & Paper Money\Coins: World\Africa\South Africa”. THERE ARE FIVE PROOF SETS IN EACH PACKAGE AND EACH SET CONTAINS A SILVER 1 RAND but ALSO has the NICKEL 1 RAND, 50 CENT, 20 CENT, 10 CENT, 5 CENT, 2 CENT AND A 1 CENT COIN. I RECENTLY OPENED A PACKAGE AND THESE ARE STOCK IMAGES SHOWING SOME OF THE SETS THAT WAS IN THE PACKAGE THAT I OPENED. THE APPEARANCE WILL VARY AND THE COINS MAY HAVE TONING THAT LOOKS GREAT, GOOD, BAD OR HORRIBLE. QUITE SIMPLY, THE APPEARANCE VARIES. THE SILVER COINS USUALLY HAVE TONING ON THE SIDE THAT WAS FACING UPWARDS AND IN CONTACT WITH THE WHITE FABRIC. USUALLY THE OTHER SIDE DOESN’T HAVE TONING, BUT THAT CANT BE GUARANTEED. ON RARE OCCASIONS THE UNDERSIDE IS ALSO TONED AND SOMETIMES IT IS RAINBOW TONING. THE COPPER/BRONZE COINS USUALLY ARE BRIGHTER AS WELL ON THE UNDERSIDE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN YOU OPEN SOME OF THE SETS YOU MAY FIND THAT SOME OF THE COINS HAVE COME OUT OF THEIR SLOTS AND ARE TOUCHING OR EVEN ON TOP OF OTHER COINS. I HAVE OPENED ONE PACKAGE OF 5 SETS AND FOUND THAT 3 OUT OF THE 5 SETS WAS IN THIS CONDITION. ONE SET HAD COINS JUST BARELY TOUCHING AND 2 SETS HAD COINS HALFWAY ON TOP OF ANOTHER COIN. SINCE THE COINS HAVE RIMS IT PREVENTED ANY SCRATCHING IN MY PARTICULAR CASE. YOU MAY NOT GET SO LUCKY, OR YOU MAY GET LUCKY AND NOT HAVE ANY SETS WITH THIS CONDITION. THERE IS SOME RISK THAT THE COINS MAY BE TOUCHING AND SOME MAY HAVE UNNATRACTIVE TONING. THERE IS SOME CHANCE THAT YOU MAY GET 5 PERFECT SETS WITH INCREDIBLE RAINBOW TONING IN EACH SET. BOTH THE GOOD AND THE BAD OUTCOMES HAVE BEEN FACTORED INTO THE PRICE. AS A COIN COLLECTOR I FIND THESE SEALED SETS TO BE INCREDIBLY FASCINATING AND A JOY TO OPEN. IT IS TRULY A RARE AND UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE YOUR OWN SEALED PACKAGE FROM 37 YEARS AGO. I’m excited about this because these are pristine coins from decades ago that have been stored and never handled. You may not ever have an opportunity like this again to get pristine coins of this type. And of course, the case that these come in is pristine condition despite being 37 years old. This also has a white sleeve that is in fine condition as well. SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR COMPLETE SETS THAT ALSO HAVE THE SILVER 1 RAND. You should inquire now if interested. I have lots of coins from South Africa so please check out my other items. Be on the look out! I have listed new graded South African coins! I have lots of other S. I have about every modern silver coin made by the South African Mint for sale. I do have LOTS OF OTHER coins for sale: Kennedy half dollars, Silver Eagles, Britannia’s Silver Euro’s and lots more!
