Another eBayer tells me the scales are NOT warthog tusk as originally listed, but giraffe bone instead!! Famed knife maker Arno Bernard expanded his business in recent years to include all four of his sons. This knife was originally advertised to me as one of the son’s first foray into knife making. However, the company’s web page says two of Arno’s sons collaborated to make a knife business and called it JAB. I’m not sure which is correct as far as authorizing the JAB letters etched on the mirror-finished blade, but it’s a beauty with very polished giraffe bone scales.
