This is a very beautiful Pieter Viljoen custom-made knife from South Africa. The knife features a steel blade with exquisite ebony wood handles. It also features a tooled leather sheath. Both the knife and sheath are in near fine condition, although the blade does show some wear associated with use. See photos for details. Coin and green placement mat not included. Can’t use the’I’ word but this is from the African savanna so I’m sure you can figure out the handle material; and the artwork is gorgeous. Each knife is signed as well as seen in the pictures. This is the best set you’ll ever find and I have no doubt about that… Display case collectors item which will make for an instant heirloom. It’s the only one that exists so I cannot use the word “rare”. It’s the ONLY one. No splitting in the handles, and the blades are like mirrors. Everything has always been lubricated accordingly including the case. I’ve kept this either in a climate-controlled cabinet or in a safe for 40 years… Which makes this set an antique as well.
