Very Rare Haglund Sterling Copper Figural Cufflinks Modernist Minimalist Superb

Vintage Haglund copper & sterling silver human figural modernist, minimalist cufflinks. Age: circa estimated 1950’s – 60’s. Stamped Haglund South Africa, Sterl. + Copper Hand Made. Vintage Haglund, modernist, minimalist and impressionist cufflinks by Hans Blum Rolf Waizenegger. Sterling silver, stylized human figure on copper triangular plaques. Approximate measurements: 1 1/8″ x 5/8″. These cufflinks are in superb vintage condition. From a smoke-free home. The original founders of Haglund’s, Hans Blum & Rolf Waizenegger (two German goldsmith cousins) had for many years made modern and organic designed jewelry often well ahead of their time. Because of political difficulties in South Africa in the 60s, they branched out into ethnic jewelry. Their vintage pieces are difficult to find and sought after by collectors. We do not polish our clients’ pieces as some buyers prefer the lovely patina of age. Shine or not to your own taste.
