The seahorse coin is a very popular coin that has significant demand. It has a great design that collectors love. Examples are relatively common but are by no means cheap. This coin is often described as RARE!!! But that is not true. Numerous examples are easy to find and if someone describes this coin as’rare’,’scarce’, etc they are either misinformed or dishonest (or a mixture of both). The people that describe these as being rare are either ignorant or are being willfully deceptive. This includes a COA or Certificate of Authenticity from the South African Mint. Here we have a good example at a competitive price that has a nice appearance. This has no readily apparent defects aside from toning and the clear, focused, large images affords you the chance to examine it closely.
