PROFESSIONALLY CONSERVED BY NCS/NGC AND IS BLAST WHITE. The 1 Rand silver began a Protea series in 1990. This particular Protea issue celebrates the 100 years of the Railway line. This coin, the RAILWAY CENTENNIAL coin, is very difficult to get in higher grades.
