Freshly graded – pristine new holder! Certification # VARIES (STOCK PHOTO). 2019 R1 SILVER KRUGERRAND WITH RANGER SPACECRAFT PRIVY. NGC PF69 Ultra Cameo. Special “Silver Krugerrand R2 Set” pedigree. No more than 500 coins could possibly have this pedigree. Since very few people will submit sealed sets, the population will be very low for this pedigree. This coin has been ethically harvested from a sealed set. Most people break the sets, take the good coins out to send to grading and reassemble the sets with reject coins. They then pass these off as “new sets” at a premium price for reject coins. Mintage:500 This is currently the key coin of the silver Krugerrands with the lowest mintage. FOLKS, THIS IS BIG NEWS! THIS COIN COMES FROM A SPECIAL SET RELEASED BY S. TO CELEBRATE THE 50TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE MOON LANDING. I WILL BE LISTING THE COUNTERPART TO THIS COIN SO SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS. The mint released the following info about the set that this coin comes from. In 2019, a special edition Crown set is introduced, containing the R2 1oz crown which depicts the earth as seen from a vantage point above the moon. The Apollo 11 module as well as the lunar lander is depicted along with the dates 1964 and 1965 (the years of the Ranger missions), 1969 (the year of the first moon landing) and 2019 (the year in which the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing is commemorated). A 1oz fine-silver Krugerrand featuring a lunar lander as a privy mark also forms part of this set. Very few of the Ranger Privy Krugerrands graded higher. You get the exact one shown here: certification #. 2002 SOUTH AFRICA S2R SOUTHERN RIGHT WHALE SILVER 2 RAND. NGC PF 68 Ultra Cameo. This coin is VERY NICE &. Is a duplicate in my collection. Difficult to get this coin in a higher grade and I speak from personal experience after sending three of these off for grading over the years. At the time of this writing (12-24-2021) there has only been 26 coins graded by NGC. Of that 26, only ONE coin has ever graded PF70. The most common grade awarded is PF68, with 12 coins getting that grade. Only SIX coins have gotten PF69. In fact, more coins have gotten a grade of PF67 (seven of them) than have gotten a PF69 grade! With the census statistics in mind, a PF68 grade is not a shabby grade and you can pretty much forget a PF70 ever being offered for sale.
