Very few of the R2 coins will have this pedigree because for one, there are only 500 sets and because secondly, very few people will submit sealed sets (I may be the only person doing so as most people like to open the sets and do the whole cherry-picking routine). THE SET CONTAINS A R2 POLYMER PUTTY COIN (CALLED THE MOON LANDING COIN) AND A R1 SILVER KRUGERRAND WITH A RANGER SPACECRAFT PRIVY MARK. The R2 is a regular proof R2 and the Silver Krugerrand has a very special RANGER SPACECRAFT privy. The special privy looks very nice and much nicer than the last privy that they produced. Update: the South African Mint has now (July 19, 2019) officially announced the sale of this set. They have announced the coin the day before the Moon Landing Anniversary! The mint released the following info about the set. In 2019, a special edition Crown set is introduced, containing the R2 1oz crown which depicts the earth as seen from a vantage point above the moon. The Apollo 11 module as well as the lunar lander is depicted along with the dates 1964 and 1965 (the years of the Ranger missions), 1969 (the year of the first moon landing) and 2019 (the year in which the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing is commemorated). A 1oz fine-silver Krugerrand featuring a lunar lander as a privy mark also forms part of this set. With the mintage of only 500, this particular privy-marked silver Krugerrand is the current key coin and will likely remain the key coin into the far future.
