The blade is 3 inches long and is made from 12C27 Sandvik Stainless Steel, which is a hollow ground blade. The hollow ground portion of the blade is brushed and the flats are highly polished. The tang is tapered to reduce weight and the overall length of the knife is 5 3/4 inches. The Fossil Scales exhibits blue and green colors enhancing the appearance of the knife. This was from my uncle’s estate. It was in his safe. It is new, never sharpened or carried. Any blade imperfections and marks shown in the photos is from the Tuff Cloth oil rag it was wiped with. Some small dots that appear in the photos are specks of leather from the sheath. This knife is perfect! Blade measures just under 3 inches. Overall length is about 5 3/4 inches.
