On offer is a 1948 South Africa 5 Shillings, certified by NGC as MS63. This large silver crown (KM40.1) was struck at the Pretoria Mint in. 800 fine silver and features the classic George VI portrait obverse with the iconic springbok reverse. The coin shows strong luster with attractive natural toning on both sides and no distracting marks beyond what is typical for the grade. 8227020-022 (checkable on NGC’s website) guarantees the grade and authenticity.
