I did my best to take photos that reflected the golden tone of this coin – it’s truly beautiful and I’ve never seen a silver coin patina with that shade, especially evenly, as though it’s the natural hue of the coin. The 1893 South African Republic (ZAR) 2 shillings coin features a portrait of. On the obverse side. Johannes Paulus “Paul” Kruger. The coin is made of sterling silver. 925 fineness, weighs 11.31 grams, and was minted in Pretoria. Features the ZAR coat of arms.
