The original founders of Haglund’s, Hans Blum & Rolf Waizenegger (two German goldsmith cousins) had for many years made modern and organic designed jewelry often well ahead of their time. Because of political difficulties in South Africa in the 60s, they branched out into ethnic jewelry. Their vintage pieces are difficult to find and sought after by collectors.
